inter:act is a gap year training and missional discipleship programme for all ages run by Morningside Baptist Church, Edinburgh
inter:act aims to grow us as disciples who
- discover more of who God is
- increasingly live as we were created to be
so that we will
- do what God says
- see transformation in ourselves, others, our city, nation and world
The programme will
- help you deepen your relationship with God and others
- discover your gifts, abilities and calling and put them into practice
- provide teaching in formal sessions which will include Bible overview, practical theology and teaching on mission with an overall focus on application
- practical training and service in a Missional Expression
- personal growth within team life, workshops, accountability relationships as well as ME community

How inter:act works
The programme runs for 3 academic terms starting in October and finishing the following June. The year begins with a full time week of induction, 3-7 October. The fee for the year is £600, and you will also be required to cover your accommodation and living expenses. There will be an overseas trip around Easter.
There is also an opportunity to be part of the inter:act theatre team in partnership with The LOT, a Christian arts ministry.
